Thanks to partners like you, St. Joseph's Medical Center has been more than just a hospital; it's been a beacon of health and hope in the Stockton community for 125 years. Our enduring presence and service throughout these years have firmly established us as the leading medical facility in San Joaquin County.
Because you are a caring St. Joseph’s supporter, I’m writing to let you know our 2024 Drive for a Healthier Future is officially underway.
This is one of our most important fundraising events of the year because it provides critical resources to advance state-of-the-art medical technology and innovations in patient care—all to help save lives.
Advanced Technology and Equipment—Last year, we made significant strides in medical technology. We introduced the TrueBeam Linear Accelerator at our Cancer Institute, enhancing cancer treatment capabilities. Additionally, we've expanded patient care with new bedside ultrasounds throughout the hospital. These advancements ensure San Joaquin County residents receive cutting-edge treatment close to home.
Graduate Medical Education—St. Joseph’s is nurturing the next generation of medical professionals through its Graduate Medical Education program. In the 2024-2025 year, we're hosting 161 resident physicians across 10 specialties. Expanding this program is key to our vision—it not only improves health care quality and accessibility in our community, but also draws highly-skilled physicians to teach and drive innovation and it attracts quality resident physicians who are more likely to grow roots in Stockton.
Pediatric Expansion—St. Joseph’s leads pediatric care in San Joaquin County as the only hospital that has Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists available 24/7. Annually, our unit cares for over 700 young patients with complex needs, providing essential, multifaceted treatments. Recognizing the challenges our patients' families face in seeking specialized care, we're committed to expanding our services to meet the rapidly growing demand for pediatric health care in our region.
Your gift today has the power to heal for years to come!
As a not-for-profit hospital, St. Joseph’s relies on individual contributions from caring partners like you to make such leading-edge care possible.
Our goal is to raise $25,000 by March 31. And your support is
urgently needed to help reach it!
So, please take a moment to give to the 2024 Drive for a Healthier Future today. And together, let’s bring hope to patients when they need it the most. Thank you!
