11th Annual Fun Run/Walk Details
Congratulations!
Kudos to you for kicking the New Year off right with a pledge to your health. We're thrilled to have you be a part of our 11th Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk for Wellness, presented by Pacific Homecare Services. The Fun Run is a family-friendly, community event benefiting St. Joseph's Cancer Institute. Below you will find some important event information. Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.
Early Packet Pickup
Save time and take advantage of early packet pickup. This is your opportunity to pick up your bib, safety pins, t-shirt, and swag bag filled with goodies.
Friday, January 24
Fleet Feet Sports, 265 Lincoln Center, Stockton
Noon - 6 p.m.
Note: If you plan to pick up a packet for a friend, coworker, or family member, you may only do so if a signed waiver is on file. If a signed waiver is not on file, the packet can be picked up Saturday morning by the original registrant. Blank waivers will be provided for signature.
Check in at University Park

All event activities take place at the beautiful University Park Campus
Near Dignity Health Medical Group Stockton, 782 East Harding Way
- 7:45 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., Race day check-in and day-of registration
- 8:40 a.m., Pre-race program, warm-up
- 9 a.m., 5K Run/Walk start
- 10:15 a.m., Awards ceremony at 105.9 The Bull tent
Where do I park?
You are welcome to choose from these FREE parking options:
1. Underground parking garage at St. Joseph's Medical Center (fee waived for event only)
2. Surface street parking lot across from garage entrance at St. Joseph's Medical Center (fee waived for event only)
3. Stockton PACE parking lot inside University Park (enter from Magnolia Street)
Look for signs and volunteers in safety vests to help you find your way. Please note, a limited amount of parking is available at University Park. Please do not park in a lot that exits onto the route, unless you plan to stick around for the whole event. For the safety of our participants, we cannot allow car traffic along the route.
Treat yourself
Be sure to enjoy all the "extras" the Fun Run has to offer, including:
- Warm up, led by local Zumba instructor Mel Romasanta
- Easy, flat, double looping 5k (3.1 mile) route through the beautiful University Park campus. There is one aid station with restroom access.
- Fruit and yogurt parfaits from Golden State Restaurant Group (McDonalds)
- Noah's bagels
- Starbucks coffee
- Krispy Kreme donuts
- Massages by Darin Shelby
- 105.9 The Bull prize tent
- Vendor expo
- Face painting
- NorCal Costuming Club - our favorite superheroes are back!
- Local sports mascots - Splash and PowerCat
- Medal ceremony, drawing prizes, and more!
Overall male/female winners will receive a custom etched glass trophy (no masters). Medals will be awarded to the top three in each age division (19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+). All participants are also entered into a prize drawing.

Captivating Sports Photos will be on hand to capture you in action! This year's event includes free unlimited digital downloads, courtesy of Pacific Homecare Services.
Get Social! We want to see your Fun Run photos too. Post your pics and use #stjoesfunrun so we can find them, and for a chance to win a $10 Dick's Sporting Goods Bonus Certificate. Three winners will be announced the week of January 27.
T-Shirts
T-shirts are only guaranteed to participants who registered on or before January 10. Following the race, any extra t-shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We appreciate your understanding.
