St. Joseph's SPIRIT Club
From shoes for needy children, to blankets for the homeless, and food for the hungry, the SPIRIT Club does amazing things at St. Joseph’s and in the community.
SPIRIT Club, an employee-led organization, stands for Special People Involved Reaching into Tomorrow. SPIRIT Club began with a small group of employees in 1985. Today, nearly 1,000 St. Joseph’s employees are involved through donations and volunteerism. Because there is no overhead or operating expenses, every donated dollar goes to help others in need.
Join your colleagues in making a difference by becoming a SPIRIT Club member today.
Getting started is easy - simply choose a giving method that works best for you
- Paper application. Simply print and return the application to the Foundation Office, located on the first floor across from Administration.
- ESS payroll deduction. Sign into ESS using Google Chrome. Be sure to select "St. Joseph’s Foundation of San Joaquin" in the drop down menu to ensure your gift stays with our Foundation. Enter "SPIRIT Club" into the purpose/restriction section. Step-by-step instructions
- A one-time or monthly reoccurring donation. A great option for contract employees, support SPIRIT Club with cash, check, credit card, or online donation. If donating online, enter "SPIRIT Club" into the comment box.
Not sure how much to give? Join with as little as $5 per pay period, or consider giving an amount equal to one hour of your salary per pay period. Because your gift is combined with the generosity of others, your participation is what matters most. No matter what you give, 100% of your donation supports goes to help others in need.
Need to make a change? You may change or stop your contribution at any time. If you would like to increase or decrease the amount of your gift, simply complete a new paper application, available above. If you wish to discontinue payroll deduction, please email SJFSJ@DignityHealth.org. It can take up to 2-3 paychecks to see the adjustment.
